The Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property (TEEDI) following the announcement on the subject “Notice of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property on the Register of Beneficial Beneficiaries” dated 03/14/2024, informs that in cases of change of officers/partners in a company/partnership, it is the responsibility of the new officers/partners of a company /partnership before accepting their appointment, to carry out a relevant investigation as to whether a company/partnership has declared the beneficial owners in the system of beneficial owners of the Registrar of Companies and official receiver.
Otherwise in case of change of officers/partners in a company/partnership, the pecuniary charges shall be borne by the officers/partners appointed on the date of submission of beneficial owner details.
